Ans a) The capacity to separate Nucleotide particularly from end chain is known as exonucleus activity. It is of two types :
1. 3' to 5' exonucleus.
2. 5' to 3' exonucleus.
The enzymatic capacity of DNA Polymerase is utilized in proof reading separate Nucleotide particularly from 3' end chain.
Ans b) It corrects the mistakes which takes place in nwely synthesized DNA. After the recognizing the incorrect base pair , DNA Polymerase moved in the backward direction through base pair. The 3'-5' exonucleus activity helps in proof reading i.e. permits the incorrect base pair to be removed.
Ans c) RNA Primase are removed and okazaki fregments are joined as it 5' to 3' exonucleus activity , RNA primer is removed by the DNA Polymerase and hence , Gap is filled present between okazaki fregments with DNA.
