Immunization is the process which made a person immune or resistant against the pathogen or infectious disease.In another way we can say it protect the person from infection.It is done by the administration of a vaccine.Vaccines stimulate the body's own immune system.The body keeps a few T-lymphocytes,called memory cells,that go into action if the body encounter the germ.When the familiar antigens are detected,B-lymphocytes produce antibodies to attack them.Immunization is a proven tool for controlling and eliminating life-threatening infectious disease.Vaccination does not require any major lifestyle change.
