Briefly describe how integrons can mobilize pieces of DNA.
Integron are type of DNA molecules that recognize site specific recombinase, recognition region due to it, they allow other sequence which has similar recognition region /site to be introduced or incorporated inside integron by the process of recombination.
The molecule or element that integron uptake are known as
cassettes.
They have promotors, recombination region, and integrase gene, etbr
resistant, resistant to sulphonamide resistant genes also
They may uptake many antibiotic resistance molecule or cassettes
due to which the plasmid might become resistant to quite a few
number of antibiotics widely.
