Why does prophase have to happen before metaphase? make sure to think about all of things that occur during pophase and why they are needed to proceed.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Prophase has to happen before metaphase because it is this phase of cell cycle where some such events happen without which the cell division process cannot progress.

1. There is condensation of genetic material and formation of chromosome

2. Spindle fibres originates in this ohase which binds to the microtubule and pulls the sister chromatids towards the pole

3. The microtubules also forms in this phase and they attach to the kindtochore on the chromosomes and to the spindle fibres .

So all these events have to happen before the sister chromatids align themselves at the equator in metaphase.

In other words prophase set the stage for metaphase.

Marketers cannot create demand or make people buy things that they don’t want or need. Marketing does, however, inform, persuade, and remind people about the availability, features, advantages, and benefits associated with new and existing products. One important task of marketing is to introduce people to products that they otherwise might not know about. Choose any product you like that you think people DO NOT have a huge awareness of. Write a “slogan” for that product, and in 5 sentences...
