Sample 1: Single stranded RNA due to the presence of Uracil in place of Thymine. Since A binds with U, for it to be double stranded, the percentage of A and U must be same so this is a single stranded molecule.

Sample 2: Double stranded RNA due to the presence of Uracil in place of Thymine. Double stranded for the same reason mentioned above.

Sample 3: Single stranded DNA due to the presence of Thymine. Single stranded for the same reason that A and T are not same which they should be in case of double stranded.

Sample 4: Double stranded DNA due to the presence of Thymine. Double stranded for the same reason mentioned above.
