Paleogenetics - It is the study of genetic material from the ancient organisms. It involves examination of preserved genetic information. Paleogeneticists piece together ancient DNA sequences using various analytical methods from the fossils of extinct species or prevailing species.

It helps us in providing valuable information on human evolution, domestication of animals , history of diseaes etc.

This new field exploding with information because it has great potential in the prediction of biospheric responses to future environmental changes. Studying of the past coorelations can help us get ideas of possibilities in future.
