Pre-embryo is the stage of the embryo just after fertilization. It lasts for first two weeks after fertilization.

Blastomeres, trophoblast cells, maternal determinants, HCG are all part of pre-embryo.

Once the pre-embryo settles in the endometrium HCG is formed.

Pro-nucleus is the nucleus of the sperm and ovum under going fertilization. Fertilization results in the formation of diploid zygote nucleus. So the pro-nucleus is absent in pre-embryo.
