Contribution of John snow to epidemiologist:

He was the first epidemiologist. He was the one who introduce the information that cholera is water borne disease. He downfall the Miasma theory.He also introduced the concept of anaesthesia by studying and calculating dosages for the use of ether and chloroform.

Contribution of Ignaz Semmelweis

He was known for his outstanding contribution in pioneering the antiseptic procedures. He is also known as “savior of mothers”. He was the first to tell the fact that the puerperal fever can be prevented by disinfecting hands with chlorine lime water.

Contribution of Edward Jenner:

Edward Jenner was the first scientist to discover the very first vaccine of the world. He introduced the small pox vaccine. He is also known as Father of immunology. He was also the first person to describe the brood parasitism of cuckoo.
