1- Paul Benedict (1938–2008), American actor, developed agromegaly which is  is a disorder that results from excess growth hormone (GH) after the growth plates have closed. Best known for portraying Harry Bentley, The Jeffersons English next door neighbour.

2- Wendy Williams is the latest celebrity with Graves' disease, which affects the body on the inside and out resulting in the overproduction of thyroid hormones. Physical indications are the Symptoms include anxiety, hand tremor, heat sensitivity, weight loss, puffy eyes and enlarged thyroid.

3- This disease is named after Dr. Thomas Addison, who discovered it in 1849. Addison's disease occurs when the body's adrenal glands are not able to make enough of the hormones cortisol or aldosterone.

While investigating a peculiar form of anemia, Addison found pathological changes in both suprarenal glands that appeared to be independent of anemia. Patients were often weak, had irritable stomachs and a strange change in skin color. Upon autopsy, all patients had lesions on the suprarenal glands
