If the are 20 centromeres in a cell at metaphase (of mitosis) how many chromosomes are there in each cell following cytokinesis?

If there are 20 centromeres at metaphase which means there are 20 chromosomes aligned in the centre of the cell during metaphase. Each centromere hold 2 chromatids and it makes up a chromosome. There will be 20 chromosomes after the the cytokinesis as cytokinesis marks the end of mitosis and the number of chromosomes remains conserved where as in meiosis the number of chromosomes are reduced or halved.
