#I. As RNA primer: DNA polymerase can’t synthesize new DNA strands on their own, they only extend a previously synthesised RNA primer by primase. The RNA primers are polymer of ribonucleotides.

#II. As energy molecule: ATP, the primary energy molecule for cellular processes, is also a ribonucleotide. ATP is required during unwinding of double stranded DNA helix by topoisomerases and DNA B helicase.
