Chemical tests to detect enzyme deficiencies can be used to detect any type of genetic disorder; DNA analysis is just a faster alternative.

True

False

Answer #1

Answer " False"

DNA analysis provides the deep information about the genetic potential to develop disorders such as lack of essential enzyme synthesis. On the basis of that information the physician can recommend the safety precaution to prevent the disorder development.

Few cases were studied and found that patients look normal and healthy but after DNA analysis it shows the potential of disease development. After that patients change their lifestyle to prevent the disease development.

DNA analysis carried through two methods, one is automated or Direct PCR method which one is faster than the manual method which involves the long process for DNA preparation.

As per Above statements we can say that DNA analysis is not only faster alternative but also provides the reliable results in diagnosis.
