A species is a difficult thing to define, but there are some parameters. The mouse lemurs of Madagascar number at approximately 20 species. However, they all look remarkably similar. How are they different species? If they are physically so similar, what makes them different species? Can they interbreed? Do they? Can you find another group of species that are almost indistinguishable from one another?

They all are different species. As species is the lowest ranking in classification of an organism. When we are talking about species it means that species are those which are reproductivaly isolated from different species and do only interbreeding (within similar species). They are different species because they can not reproduce when mated with other species. No they can not interbreed if it happen then the offspring will be infertile ( example horse mated with donkey produce mule which is infertile). There are so many groups of species which are indistinguishable from one other those are mosquitoes, starfish , ants, bees and many more.
