The normal microbiota plays a fundamental role on the induction, training and function of the host immune system and the immune system maintain a symbiotic relationship of the host with these highly diverse and evolving microbes. Many immunologists, microbiologists and geneticists are still in exploring new concepts against the role of normal microflora on the immune system in health and cancer diseases. Microbiota influence many aspects of our health including our cancer risk.
