We looked at the effect of three engineering constraints: morphogen length scale vs. tissue size, morphogen length scale vs. cell size (related to noise levels), and robustness with respect to morphogen production rate. Please explain in your own words: a) What the first constraint tells us about the value of ?. b) How the second and third constraints vary with distance from the morphogen source.
Ans- A-the first constraint or morphogen tell us about the value of morphogenesis. It tells us about the development of a specific tissue or cell in which it reside. It produce a signal whose intensity and pattern reveal about the structure and development of tissue.
Ans-B the morphogen affect the value of second and third constraint as the nearest available morphogen will generate high signal and tell the better pattern while distant morphogen will not be able to produce such a precise pattern.
