Answer #1

Answer - The robust capsule of pathogenic bacteria is a polysaccharide that lies outside and encloses the cell and hard to degrade and responsible for causing diseases, as

1. Escherichia coli causes pneumonia, diarrhea, and urinary tract infections.

2. Neisseria meningitides causes meningitis, infecting membranes around the brain, spinal cord, and bloodstream.

3. Klebsiella pneumonia causes pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, and bronchitis.
