Microbiology is the study of microorganisms that include bacteria, protozoa, parasite, viruses and fungi. It helps us in knowing the behavior, evolution, ecology and pathology of the diseases caused by these microorganisms. It also helps in identification, diagnosis and treatment of pathogenic microorganisms. Microbiology is also used in the making new vaccines against the disease. It plays a important role in medical devices for example: fluorescent fusion - which is used in the for the fast and precise detection of pathogens in tissue sample. Microbiology is also used for the prevention of food from spoilage.
