All of the above are the long-term symptoms of diabetes mellitus. People suffering from diabetes feel extremely thirsty (polydipsia) because the fluid is not retained in the body for a long time which leads to other symptom- polyuria, a condition in which a person passes abnormally large amount of urine. In the urine, there is a large amount of glucose/sugar excreted (Glucosuria). It Is a condition where kidney is not able to absorb glucose leading to its excretion. Retinopathy is impairment of the retina of the eyes, which can cause damage of the vision. Diabetes is one of the most common reason for retinopathy and can lead to partial/completed vision loss.
