Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) are the drugs that act through the inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme and decrease the production of prostaglandins. NSAIDS are commonly used for three of their properties that include anti-inflammation, anti-pyretic and analgesic activities.
2). Neostigmine - Acts by inhibitng the acetylcholinesterase enzyme, and thus, increases the acetylcholine levels. It is used in the treatment of myasthenia gravis.
