Temperature and precipitation would be considered as a direct
effect of climate changes.
Some examples of direct effect of climate changes---
- Effect of rainfall - growth and development of plants are
affected badly.
- Effect of temperature- due to increase of the temperature grain
size reduces. Grains will be more weak.
- Physiological and biological process affected by directly.
- Effect on atmospheric CO2 - Biomass of the plant are reduced.
Gas exchange in the air is reduced.
Some examples of indirect effect of climate change----
- Soil Moisture - due to climate change, more rainfall reduce the
fertility of the soil.
- Phenological changes of the plants are affected. ( Seasonal
plants)
- Pets and disease- indirectly affected the crops by effect on
pets and disease.
