During cell division yeast chromosome mis divide. Loss and gain of chromosome in genome during cell division is called as aneuploidy.Aneuploidy is caused by the environment changes it is important for the evolution of organism.

In sachharomyces cerevisiae aneuploidy on largest chromosome causes reduced in growth by delay in G1 phase of mitosis.simultaneously aneuploidy on other chromosomes of schharomyces cerevisiae can increased growth or proliferative capacity of yeast.

Aneuploidy gives rapid adaptive evolution in microorganism due to exposure of environmental adn stress factors.
