What effect would transduction, transformation and conjugation have on the amount of antibiotic resistance in bacteria
In the bacteria they acquire the antibiotic resistant in takes place in a variety of ways which can also include the mutation that occurs randomly and also the genetic transfer which takes place with the help of transduction, transformation and conjugation.
So the transduction have the effect on the amount of antibiotic resistant bacteria because in transduction it is involve in the trnasferring of the bacteriophage pieces which is the bacteria DNA which is been transferred from one cell to another.
In conjugation the transfer occurs between Hfr cell to an F- cell when there is also the requirement of the cell to cell contact and due to which it had the effect on the antibiotic resistant of bacteria.
And in the transformation there occurs the modification in the bacteria which takes place by incorporating the DNA which is free from another ruptured bacterial cell.
