What is unusual about the bacteria Myxococcus. [ONLY WANT A SHORT ANSWER]

Myxococcus is a rod shaped gram negative bacteria. When there is abundant food present then, it acts as a predatory single species sporophytic biofilm called as the swarm.

But when the nutrition level depletes or the cells are subjected to Starvation then, it undergoes a developmental process in which about 1000000 cells aggregate to form the fruiting bodies therrby showing the social behaviour. While the aggregation is occuring the, dense cells move in ripple.
