An individual that just completed a course of oral antibiotic is more likely to benefit from ingesting probiotics than someone that has not used antibiotics. Provide an explanation as to why this is the case. In either case, the addition of probiotics may help both individuals benefit. why?

Probiotics are used to resrtore good bacteria for digestive system These probiotics include lactobacillus or Bifidobacterium or other benefitial bacteria which help to restore normal microflora in the gut. If oral antibiotics course has been taken currently, then most of the resident bacteria in the gut has been expected to be eliminated. So when probiotics are administered these helpful bacteria do not face competition from resident bacteria and they can be established in the gut easily. So, after oral antibiotic course, probiotic bacteria can be established easily.

Probiotics normally help to restore gut normal flora and if probiotic course have been undertaken , one's digestive system microflora become healthier and it helps to digest his food more efficiently. So, probiotic always are benefitial.
