Ans 1) The similarity between DNA in the kidney and skin cell is that both the cell compromises of exactly the same genome or DNA. The DNA is exactly same but due to differential gene expression it forms separate cells. The difference is that the genes that are responsible for formation of the skin cells are activated while the others are suppressed. The kidney cells require proteins and factors for its functioning and only the genes related to it are activated.
