Answer #1

It might possible that the excretary products of colon is transfered to urine. Colon is responsible for the absorption and elimination of waste material. When colon has an obstruction it might possible that substances such as bilirubin is directly secreted by urine. In normal situation bilirubin is absorbed by colon and goes to liver and passed to bile. A small portion also goes to urine from kidney. However, a block in colon can cause the increase of bilirubin which might elesewhere passed to liver in urine. This increased bilirubin concentration can results in darker urine colour.
