Answer #1

ANSWER :

Two major difference between the mitosis and meiosis :-

1. The mitotic cell division occurs in the all th somatic cells of the body, while the meiosis always occurs in the reproductive organs to produce haploid gametes (sex cells).

2. Mitosis lead to formation of the two daughter cells with same ploidy level to their parent cell, and have equal amount and similar genetic material (DNA), while meiosis leads to form four haploid daughter cells and each of the daughter cell has half number of chromosomes to their parent cell, and also have some difference.
