1. the scientific method has abondoned the ancient and medival system it does not believe in myths and supersitious beliefs but it tries to find the logical and scientic conclusions along with evidences and has brought a human life out of the dark ages of myths and baseless beliefs.

2. the idea of science is to achieve a systemic interrelation of facts. The scientific method attempts to acieve this ideal by experimentation, observations and logical arguments from accepting postulates and combination of these three in varying proportions.

3. the scientific method has been applied to study the human behavior.

4. The way of thinking was so strong an influence on all kinds of intellectual activity in the 1700s that the period became known as Age of Reason.
