NCBI stands for National Center for Biotechnology Information. It contain whole genome sequencing of organisms. It is main tool used by bioinformaticians because it contain genome sequencing as well as protein information. It is actually a database of genome sequencing, protein sequencing. The other tools are present to compare these sequencing also linked with this data base i.e. BLAST, pubmed, pubChemRCS, etc. if an unkown species are found the we can compare those organism genome sequence with this NCBI database to find relationship between them. It store the information related to genome, biochemistry, molecular biology. It is used by also biotechlogist for research on specific organism. It is vast database that contain large amount of data of genome.

This question may be completed independently or as a group exercise. In this lab, we have discussed the savanna hypothesis and how pre-australopithecines challenge this explanation of the evolution of bipedalism. If the savanna environment was not the factor favoring bipedalism, what was? Describe some of the advantages of bipedalism (be sure to think about what life would have been like for our ancestors millions of years ago when bipedalism evolved, including their risk of predation, food availability, etc.). Are...

Description In this project you will practice what we have learned in class about Design, ER Diagrams, Relational Models, DDL, SQL, CRUD (Create, Update, Delete) operations, associated queries, and mock data population. The goal is to create a realistic professional database/development experience. This assignment will describe the requirements for the database as you might receive them. You will need to fill in the details as you work on it. You will find that your work may be iterative, and you...

Our nutrition and eating patterns are shaped by our perceptions of food; what we have learned to like and dislike, what we feel is healthful, and it is even formed by our family, cultural, and religious beliefs. For this discussion, list five foods/liquids you like and five foods/liquids you don't like and/or avoid. For each you like, describe why you like them. For example, you might say I like to eat chocolate chip cookies because they remind me of my...

Write a discussion post : As we have seen, a confidence interval is constructed using the form point estimate±critical value×standard error where the point estimate is the value calculated from the sample (e.g. a sample mean), the critical value is a cutoff value from the normal distribution, and the standard error measures the variability of sample means. The margin of error is the second part of this formula: critical value×standard error which indicates our uncertainty in the estimate. Confidence intervals...

Activity 1: Scientific Reports You may have heard the question “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” A similar question can be asked about experiments. “If a researcher performs an experiment and never publishes the result has science been performed?” Many people would say no because science is the accumulation of knowledge. If the results of an experiment are not published, knowledge is not gained. The final...
