Explore and describe a tool in NCBI or in any relevant genetics database that we have not discussed in any of our class web activities (what is the tool used for? demonstrate with a sample activity, the usefulness of the tool)
NCBI stands for National Center for Biotechnology Information. It contain whole genome sequencing of organisms. It is main tool used by bioinformaticians because it contain genome sequencing as well as protein information. It is actually a database of genome sequencing, protein sequencing. The other tools are present to compare these sequencing also linked with this data base i.e. BLAST, pubmed, pubChemRCS, etc. if an unkown species are found the we can compare those organism genome sequence with this NCBI database to find relationship between them. It store the information related to genome, biochemistry, molecular biology. It is used by also biotechlogist for research on specific organism. It is vast database that contain large amount of data of genome.
