a deer population grows 30% in the first 120 minutes. How long will it take for the deer population to double?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Given that the deer population grow 30% in 120 minutes

So the time-growth relationship can be said as,

                  Time for 30% growth = 120 min.

                  Time for 10% growth = 40 min.

The time required for 100% population growth = 400 min.

100% of population growth implies the doubling of the population. So the time required for the deer population to double is 400 minutes ( 6 hours 40 minutes).
