Monoclonal antibody 102.4 is a chemical constituted
by antibodies that can fight against the virus.
This antibody was engineered to mimic antibodies
,the human body produced naturally as a immune system response to
germs,viruses and other pathigenic invadors.
The antibody 102.4 targets ephrin -B2 and ephrin B3
receptor binding domain of the virus.
The m 102.4 binds to the receptor binding domain of
the glycoprotein in henda virus and it converts to an
Immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) format and shows exceptional cross
reactive neutralising capability .
This monoclonal antibody should be administered
shortly after the exposure to hendra virus. ie 10,24 or 72 hrs of
infection.
