what is the structure of the areolar connective tissue ??

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer- Areolar tissue is a type of loose connective tissue that is composed of meshwork of elastic tissue, collagen and reticular fibres along with many connective tissue cells between them. Areolar connective tissue is made up of cells and extracellular matrix

The types of cells present in the areolar tissue are:-

- mast cells

- macrophages

- adipocytes

- fibroblasts

- plasma cells

The matrix has two components, fibers and ground substance. The ground substance fills all of the spaces between the cells and fibers and the types of fibres present are:-
