Expression of eukaryotic gene is different from the prokaryotic gene. Difference comes in the forms of introns and post translational modifications. Eukaryotic gene contain introns, which have to be removed from the premature mRNA to make it mature mRNA in the post translational modifications.

This problem is solved by making a cDNA (complementary DNA) from the fully functional mRNA of eukaryotic gene.This cDNA is introduced in the prokaryotic genome to obtain desired amount of protein.
