DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INQUIRY AND SCIENTIFIC METHOD:-
(a) Scientific Method:- it consists of principles and procedures for the recognition and formulation of a problem, the collection of data and experiment, and the formulation and testing of hypothesis.

-linear
-Answers a single posed question
-Results may be communicated at the
conclusion of the experiment.

(b) Inquiry:-it is a question, a request for information.
-It have following characteristics:-
-Non-Linear
-Answers a single question and may end
up generating more questions
