Baroreceptors are responsible for the sensation of pressure. They are present in the blood vessel and functions in sensing blood pressure, sending the infosmtion to brain for the pressure maintanance. Baroreceotors ae a kind of mechanoreceptor and becomes activated ehen the blood vessel gets expnded as a result of increased pressure.

Whereas with the help of chemoreceotors organisms can sense the chages in oxygen, carbon dioxide or pH. With the help of chemoreceptors, cells can make responses against chemical changes.
