At the end of 3 months in the stomach chymosin enzyme replace with the pepsin enzyme and the stomach becomes very acidic in puppies . The acid of the stomach in dogs is about 100 times more powerful as compared to humans , the acidic environment in the stomach results in the conversion of pepsinogen into its active form known as the pepsin . In the case of chronic ulcerations in the dogs , cinchophen for 21 days is given .
