The Flavivirus causes yellow fever, and it's transmitted when an infected mosquito(Aedes aegypti,) bites humans causes yellow fever .The virus is an RNA virus of the genus Flavivirus.

Flavi viruses are named from the yellow fever virus, the type virus for the family; the word flavus means "yellow" in Latin.

Flaviviruses shows,symmetry (enveloped, icosahedral nucleocapsid), nucleic acid (positive-sense, single-stranded RNA ), and appearance in the electron microscope.
