Change the substrates needed for a reaction |

all of the above |
Enzymes can speed up a reaction.
Enzymes are special kind of proteins which act as bio-catalysts. They accelerate chemical reactions without being converted themselves. The molecules on which the enzymes act are called substrates and the new molecules formed are called products. The enzymes remain unaltered after the biochemical reactions which they have facilitated.
They cannot move the reaction site or change the substrate. There are different kinds of enzymes for different biochemical reactions , so they will act on a particular substrate only.
