The majority of enzymes are globular proteins.

The majority of enzymes are fibrous proteins.

All enzymes are sphingo proteins.

All enzymes are fibrous proteins.

Answer #1

Answer- The majority of enzymes are globular proteins.

Enzymes are mainly globular proteins and this is due to their tertiary structure which gives them a globular shape.

For an enzyme to catalyse a reaction, it needs to have an active site ( a deep cavity) wherein the substrate can bind. A lock and key mehanism.

Fibrous proteins have long thin structures and are generally found in tissues such as muscles and hair.

Sphingolipids are a class of lipids which have a backbone of long chain of spinghoid bases i.e aliphatic amino acids (Sphingosine). They are fatty acid derivatives and are usually found in the cell membrane of brain and nervous tissue.
