Describe the parallels between the learning of speech in humans and courtship songs in birds.

Answer #1

There are likenesses between the obtaining of language in human and avian song learning. Like human newborn children, birds take in their vocalizations from a grown-up coach amid a touchy period ahead of schedule throughout everyday life, and in the two cases, there is a transitional "chattering" stage that goes before grown-up vocalizations. Such vocal impersonation has been shown in human, certain marine warm blooded animals, bats, and three avian taxa (songbirds, parrots, and hummingbirds). Moreover, the locales of the songbird mind associated with vocal creation and sound-related observation are closely resembling the cerebrum districts that are imperative for delivering and understanding speech in human.
