Take yeast cells and allow it to grow in sugar water and observe under electron microscope. we can see that, yeast duplicate or the bud formation is seen which results in daughter cells. vegetative reproduction.

Here we can induce the stress in two ways. 1. when the nutrient medium is exhausted the cells will be in need of nutrient. at this stage the buds are formed as spores which is known as sexual reproduction. 2. When the yeast growing plate is added with hot water we can see the formation of spores.
