The heritability of g factor (the general intelligence, or general mental ability) increases with lifespan. The higher intelligence ensures the longer life of organism.

The intelligence may play an ever increased role in life outcome and thereby increase life expactancy. Similarly, heritability of general intelligence increases with age. The g factor leads to better health behaviours, medicines, etc. Thus, "g" increase life span.

Human had high intelligence, mental quality that consists of the abilities to learn from experience, understand and handle abstract concepts, adapt to new situations, and use knowledge to manipulate one's environment and thereby this allow humans had high life span than other animals.
