In molecular biology, DNA replication is the biological process of producing two identical replicas of DNA from one original DNA molecule. DNA replication occurs in all living organisms acting as the most essential part for biological inheritance. The cell possesses the distinctive property of division, which makes replication of DNA essential.By replicating daughter cells, the new cells receive a copy of DNA.DNA replication is important because a cell cannot grow and reproduce (or divide) unless DNA has been replicated. Sometimes errors called mutations occurduring DNAreplication.It is important since it creates a next copy of DNA that have to go into one of the two daughter cells when a cell divides. Without replication, each cell lacks adequate hereditary fabric to give instructions for creating proteins vital for bodily purpose.
