How can inheritance and gene expression differ between males and
females?

short response (1-3 sentences, 5 max).
Thank you in advance!
Ans. Gene expression and inheritance is different in males and females. An allele which is dominant in one sex can be recessive in another sex.
Males have one Y chromosomes and genes present on this chromosome will be expressed only in male and many of these have no counterparts on autosomes or X chromosomes.
Also some genes are influenced by sex. For example- gene of baldness causes baldness even in heterozygous condition in male but for baldness in female, both allele should be dominant or homozygous dominant.
