When we use immersion oil, doesn't require cover slip and use 100x magnification of the microscope. Staining must require to see the organisms under microscope. But immersion oil itself not have any ability to stain the organisms. Immersion oil is a oil use to increase resolving power and avoid light refraction. Glass and oil light bends is same. So here all option are correct.
