Ecological Succession term indicates the change in the construction of species in a specific geographical area within a certain amount of time

In succession various processes tend to happen and they arr categorized in various time scales. Some of the time scales and processes operated by succession are as following -

1- 50(years) :- incoming of appropriate plant species

  1- 50(years) :- settlement of these plant pioneers

1- 10(years) :- deposition of materials gathered by plant

1-100(years) :- accumulation of nutrients and nitrogen by plants

1-1000(yr) :- process of weathering

10-10000(yr):- process of leaching of motile nutrients from surface to deepr layers and zones.
