What landforms are created by stream deposition (for physical geology"

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Deposition, as suggested by its name itself deposit of something at something else. There are many landforms which get form by deposition process, by stream deposition is one of them . Following are some landforms:

1)Alluvial fans- Alluvial fans forms when high speed stream comes from a high point to low foot plain of slope, it loses its kinetic energy which leds to settlement and spread of its load. It forms in a cone shape from broad bottam to sharper tip.

2) Delta- Deltas are another such landforms, they are from at mouth of river at final deposii stage. Coarse material include main ingredient of deltas whereas fine materials flow out.

3)Natural levees- Natural levees are found on bank of large rivers conposed of coarse deposit materials, coarser than deposit spread by flood. They are parallel, low, linear in nature.

All the best, if it was helpful give a thumbs up

Value-Stream Costing Henderson, Inc., has just created five order fulfillment value streams, two focused and three that produce multiple products. The size of the plant in which the value streams are located is 100,000 square feet. The facility costs total $1,000,000 per year. One of the focused value streams produces a basic MP3 product. The MP3 value stream occupies 20,000 square feet. Not counting facility costs, the MP3 value-stream costs total $1,800,000. There are 25,000 MP3 units produced annually. There...

(25) A silicon wafer was doped in a 1000°C pre-deposition diffusion with phosphorus (P) to its solid solubility limit (maximum doping concentration, at 1000°C, Nsol = 11021/cm3 for P in Si). The process time was 20 minutes. After the pre-deposition, the surface of the silicon wafer was sealed in a closed tube and an 1100°C drive-in process followed. 1). Find the surface concentration after pre-deposition. 2). Find the drive in time needed to obtain a junction depth of 4.0 μm....
