The order primates contain around 350 species of primates about 80 million years ago. But, most of these species have become extinct in the course of time and only few species are remaining. The homosapiens itself have undergone several evolution from neanderthal man, cromagnon man etc. Currently, human species is evolving but if you take at individual level, the evolution is negligable.
Only scenario in which a new species may originate is during a global catastrophe. The current species may get wiped out and new species that can survive the new conditions get developed.
