GasPak anaerobic system has been utilised for creation of an environment that is free of oxygen. This would be created for growth of microbes that are anaerobic. There is a chamber, inside which incovulated tubes or plates would be placed. These conditions would be created as there would be addition of water to the gas generator envelope.

The gas generator envelop would be used in generation of carbon dioxide as well as hydrogen as there would be water added. The palladium catalyst present in the jar’s list would be combining for evolution of hydrogen along with the remaining oxygen for formation of oxygen.
