Homework Answers

Answer #1

The incorrect statement is b.

Virus doesn't always shows symptoms of infectious disease. Sometimes they are asymptomatic.

Rest all the other statements about virus are correct. Virus contain either RNA or DNA as their genetic material , they enter the host cell and then the host treat the viral DNA or RNA as its own. Thus virus uses host ribosome to make viral protein.

Virus replicates it's DNA and protein coat within host cell and then assemble to form new virus particles.

Virus are often very specific about their host within which they replicate.
